Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
Peak Apps Studio ("we") makes Parrotly. This policy says what the app does with your data. Short version: your voice is analysed on your iPhone, recordings are deleted when the game ends, and we collect nothing.
Microphone
Parrotly asks for microphone access the first time a player taps "Now copy it!". The microphone is on only during the few seconds of a try. The recording is analysed on the device to compute the score; it is not sent anywhere and no speech recognition is used. Recordings are kept only until the game ends (so the end-of-game replay can play them back) and are then deleted. Practice recordings are deleted right after the try.
What Parrotly stores
Player names you type, your settings, your game statistics and the last winners are stored only on your device. We have no account system, we do not receive any of it, and we run no analytics or advertising. Parrotly makes no network requests for its features.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple. We do not see your payment details. Parrotly checks your purchase status with the App Store on your device.
App updates
The app can download updates to its own code from Expo's update service (expo.dev). Like any download, this reveals your IP address and app version to that service. No personal content is included.
Sharing
If you tap Share, iOS shows its share sheet with a short text about the result. Nothing is shared unless you choose to.
Children
Parrotly is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone.
Your choices
You can delete all data from Me > Delete my data, or by deleting the app. You can turn the microphone off for Parrotly in iOS Settings at any time (the game needs it to score tries).
